I like Daniel Cramer's youtube videos with Krell patching. He can get very convoluted, patch-wise, although it almost never sounds cluttered.

Random generators also touch on the difference between random and chaos (meaning chaos systems like the Sloth.) Have you tried incorporating chaos as well?

I have a Bastl Tea Kick, and 808Snare and 808Hats modules. I like triggering them from the Westlicht Per|former sequencer. If you have a spring reverb, they work really well with that.

It's a replica of a 70s Easel, which has a few minor differences from the Command. I'm working on a touch keyboard to go with it... mostly haven't finished it because I don't want to deal with fretwire between the keys :blush:
