Re: NLC Triple Sloth

alanp wrote: Fri Nov 19, 2021 3:24 am Hi. My name is Alan, and I have never paid for a commercial eurorack module.

I may have bought some kits... and PCB/panel combos... and had PCBs made... and bought PCBs from guys on forums...
Welcome Alan! Is that a replica of a Buchla Easel Command on top of your rack?

Re: Let's talk waveforms!

I've had a few Tektronics and they are great for visuals and measurement, but bulky, and fan noise were a bummer - plus having to make up cables. For many years I've had a Jones O'Tool + and it is great, but only 2 channels and small screen. Have a Mordax Data incoming which I think will serve all ...

Re: Let's talk waveforms!

Sawtooth or sharktooth definitely has the most harmonics so you can easily get a lot of tonal adjustment out of a stock filter etc. I have to say, one of the reasons I love the 303 sound is due to the terrible attempt it makes of a square. The flat top of the square isn't flat, it is more of a curv...

Let's talk waveforms!

In electronic music waveshaping is a type of distortion synthesis in which complex spectra are produced from simple tones by altering the shape of the waveforms. Couple of questions jump to mind like: What is your favourite waveform? Which module is best at creating them? If folding, what modules do...

Volsef Modular Cases

On Facebook I saw some of the cases Jared is building, what's the verdict? PSUs look great with the meanwell power supplies and 3d cut holders. Seems like there are plenty of connections in the box! Let me know your thoughts, from Jared's posts I think there are 168HP options, a massive 336HP option...

NLC Triple Sloth

Hey guys, I believe this is one of Nonlinearcircuit's best sellers. What are your thoughts? I'd be keen to know who has one of these Sloths? Any advice on how to use it? Love the black faceplates but would be great in the standard silver as well :D Simple video of what it actually does on the oscill...

What is your favourite 3U Eurorack module?

The never ending discussion, what's your favourite module? My favourite module, at least now, is my Poly2 from Polyend. This is definitely not your most exciting module but it enables me to connect my Polyend Tracker to my modular rig and connect it to 'the grid' . Powers my tracker through USB, ha...
